East Coast radio was started in 1976 when fresh out of the United States Marine Corps Trevor Forde secured a job at WSF L and W GSE in New Bern North Carolina in that position he was catapult to general sales manager in his first year of radio, after which he managed stations in other parts of North Carolina WOOW in Greenville North Carolina D103 FM in Dunn North Carolina and WGSE and WSEC also he managed stations in Virginia and Fayetteville North Carolina. Trevor was also the editor of the soul consumer report in New Bern North Carolina in addition to producing a local dance television show for Channel 7,ACBS affiliate in Greenville North Carolina and also for TV 62 in Fayetteville North Carolina he then went on to work for Mr. William Babcock president and CEO of the William Babcock Agency a creative and marketing Agency and then finally the Sino Radio105.9 FM in New York City and then eventually ending up as President of the Heritage Broadcast Division WRTN now WVIP 93.5 FM and WVOX in New Rochelle New York. At all nations Trevor Forde played a significant role as Air Personality, Program Producer and General Sales Manager
While still at WVOX and WVIP-FM Trevor built his own broadcast studios in Queens New York where he negotiated with many other New York City Metro station to create a broadcast link that is now known as the East Coast Radio network ….. Broadcasting on Q96FM.com which is broadcast locally in New York World Wide.
As a event producer Trevor Forde was responsible for producer Carnival the Show in Madison Square Garden, The New York Independent Summit and Conference, Monica Sanchez (Miss Caricom International Pageant).
